I came in today without an appointment to shop for a wedding gown around noon on a Thursday. The lady at the front was stand offish until she heard my story/timeline/ unique situation and then she accommodated me and my guests. We shopped off the clearance rack for wedding gowns. She allowed us to use the expensive wedding mirror, but be careful because the pedestal moves. After trying ten dresses I found the one, but then she told us the only form of payment was cash so we left to the bank down the road and got cash then returned to pay. Alright, that is all. I love the dress and I’m glad she was able to accommodate us.

They have no bridesmaid dresses here. Three of us brides to be arrived but only one of us was permitted to try on dresses. They could have sold 3 dresses but instead they sold none (unless my friend who booked the appointment decides to return). I did bring some wine and snacks to make it a party but it wasn't a festive vibe.

This was the best experience I have ever had while trying on dresses. The owner was very sweet and helpful and listened to what I said I liked in the different dresses and ended up finding me my wedding dress from that. I absolutely love my dress and the dresses I saw here were way better than other places. The owner even turned the sign to closed when I walked in and gave my family and I all her attention for the experience.

I can’t express enough the amount of good things I can say about Elizabeth Michaels. Being born and raised in Parkersburg, I am so glad that there is a beautiful bridal boutique in our area. The owner and staff treated myself and wedding party with such grace and respect! You do have to pay a small appointment fee, but that allows for you to have a price area with your wedding party to try on gowns. It made the entire experience feel more intimate and special, I really liked that touch. I found the wedding gown of my dreams because of the sense of style the owner has. She made sure myself and husband were dress to impress. The boutique also styled my husband. My husband had concerns of the fit of tuxedo pants due to him having an athletic build. The owner made sure to address his concerns and that he felt comfortable in the tux that he wore. My dress was also altered there! The alterations were perfect in every way.

Came in with wedding party to try on bridesmaids dresses. We had a few picked out and knew the dress number and brands we wanted to try on. Getting them to help us or even provide the most basic service was like pulling teeth. The associate acted annoyed the whole time and wouldn’t help us with clips or finding the styles we were looking for. Overall their rude attitude put a damper on what would have otherwise been a fun experience. I ended up ordering my dress from another shop since I wasn’t local, but the other bridesmaids had no choice but to purchase through Elizabeth Michaels. I wish there were other options in the area, and that they would treat their customers with more respect. Update in reply to owner response. I am an individual person that had an awful experience at your store. I wish myself and the bride in our party had looked at the reviews of your store before visiting. We didn’t….And unfortunately our experience mirrored so many others. Unfortunately my review didn’t bring up any new or budding issues. It truly just reiterates reviews that I wish we had looked at before entering your store. The drive elsewhere would’ve been valuable. I hope you improve in the
